RUBBERCRETE SOUND BARRIERS

Farcimar, S.A. has concluded the R&D process regarding the use of RUBERCRETE (recycled rubber + concrete) in Sound Barriers with high acoustic performance. The launch of this product coincided with the supply of this kind of barrier for Vinci Construction Terrassement, for the RN24 site in St. Thurial – France.

Farcimar, achieved one more goal in consolidating its position in the area of noise reduction solutions, with the conclusion of this R&D process and the supply of this kind of material.

Were supplied 1420 m2 of RUBERCRETE sound barriers (Class A3/B4 – EN1793-0 e EN1793-2) for the site “RN24 – Section Bréal Sous Montfort / Treffendel – la Besnardais et de L’Oisillière”

The supplied sound barriers had 28 cm thick, being composed with 10 cm structural concrete and 18 cm RUBERCRETE

As all the other types of sound barrier panels produced by Farcimar these elements can be produced with a maximum length of 5.00m and a maximum height of 3.00 m.

For this first site, the supplied panels presents a 4.00 m length and heights of 1.00, 2.20 and 2.60 m

The application of these sound barriers has as main goal minimize the sound impact within the villagers near RN24, in Rennes – France. As a plus, in the exposed face of these barriers were applied an anti-graffiti protection.
