REHABILITATION OF THE BUILDING PINHAL D’ABERTA IN ESMORIZ

Arouconstroi, S.A. was responsible for the rehabilitation of a condominium in Esmoriz.

The Pinhal D’Aberta condominium is located close to the Esmoriz beach, in Ovar.

This is a Condominium with 72 Apartments that were build in the midle 90’s

After an inpection and problems analisys, there were detected a large number of construction problems, much of them caused due to the envoiremental exposure to sea air, and others due to a poor materials selection during the construction phase.

Taking in account the recomendations of the thecnical report, it was iniciated a deep rehabilitation project in all the bulding, regarding mainly:

• Terraces;
• Roofs
• Expansion joints
• Drainage system
• External painting
• Internal rehabilitation of 53 houses (walls, seilings and pavements)
• In the management of this rehabilitation was Arouconstroi, S.A., a company from Farcimar Group, as the constructo with the oversight made by the Renovar Ideias, Lda company.

The sucess of this rehabilitation was possible due to the technical experience of Arouconstroi’s tecnics and colaborators.
