Over the years FARCIMAR has been distinguished by the ability to create new products that answer the immediate and specific needs of its customers. Your technical and production team is able to provide “Non Standard” precast solutions, quickly and effectively, by investment in skills and training of their staff and the improving their productive unit. In this context we highlight the supply and assembly of precast concrete bridge widening elements for the bridge of S. Martinho in EN15, in Valongo for Conduril, S.A. and “Non Standard” products traded for the French Market in 2013.

Inserted in the work of conservation “EN15 – Bridge of S. Martinho in Valongo” and with the objective of replace and extend the bridge deck, the Farcimar, S.A. designed a solution in precast elements which designated the “Massive Enlargement”, as an alternative to concreting “in situ”.

The solution allowed a very fast intervention in the improvement and extension of the bridge deck (the assembly work of all elements took no more than 4 hours to perform). The execution of the solution initially planned would be more time consuming and costly and would represent an increased risk in terms of security.

Trough 2013, Farcimar S.A. was present in the competitive French market. Our wide range of products, coupled with the capacity for rapid implementation of new elements that meet customer needs, make the Farcimar S.A. a great ally for the realization of any project.

Farcimar S.A. designed and provided “non-standard” products to various works namely these:
• The border and formwork elements of the bridge deck de La Jallère, row C, of the Tramway de Bordeaux for the company Bouygues TP;
• The structural panels used in the materialization of the meetings of the footbridge over the river Midouze in Mont-de-Marsan, for Eiffage;
• The concrete mass for water speed damper that were placed at the base of the channel of the River Hydroelectric Garonne in Toulouse, and even the pieces of “fish passages”, the downstream cofferdam and rounded top, for our client Bouygues TP.
