ACOUSTIC BARRIER PANELS AT GREEN COLOR, APPLIED IN A SHED CONSTRUCTION TO SUPPORT GSE , AIR BASE 5 – MONTE REAL

The Farcimar provided Concrete Green colored noise barriers, applied as facade elements in the construction of a support building for BGSE – Air Force Base in Monte Real.

The Farcimar SA , attended the project execution and definition of the solution to be adopted for cladding a pavilion ,giving support to the technical team of the Portuguese Air Force.

The solution adopted consisted of placing acoustic Barrier Panels of porous concrete with absorbent characteristics, with functions of exterior cladding of pavillion, as a principle to provide acoustic comfort to users of pavilion, combined with a view to not aggravate the situation of the surrounding acoustics.

Were manufactured and transported 320,00m2 of acoustic barrier panels of porous concrete from FARCIMAR type, pigmented with green color, with absorption class A2 ( DLα = 6 dB ) and insulation class B4 (DLR = 41 dB ).
